Hwy 152 from east to west across N. Kansas City

Guys:

Trying to go from I35 to I70.

Is this a good road and a good shortcut around KC?

If you're coming from the North take I-435 around the East side of KC. I would do the same if coming from Kansas. Highway 152 has way too much traffic and signals.

Yes. Take the 152 Hwy exit, whether your going sb or nb on I35 and go west about 10 miles until you see I435 sb towards Kansas. (There will also be an opportunity to get on I435 about 3-4 miles west after initially exiting I35 onto 152 but disregard and continue west as I previously indicated.) When you have gone about 10 miles on 152, take I435 south which will take you into Kansas. About 5-10 miles south on I435, you will see the Kansas Speedway(aka Nascar) on the right and shortly after I-70 east. We live about 5 miles north of 152 about midway between I35 and I435. Pretty straight shot really.

We live in Iowa and head south fairly often. We travel from N I-35 around east side of KC on I-435. Fast travel - seldom less than 55 MPH often 70 MPH. Stay in the left lane if heading east on I-70. If you are heading west on I-70 we have not done that in a couple of years. When we did we caught I-270 north of KC and followed it to West I-70.
