Hwy 22 Oregon

We will be traveling up into Oregon in August and head to Manzanita, we would like to take the 5 and cross over to the coast at Salem taking hwy 22. We are taking our 35 ft. M.H. with a toad. Can anyone tell me about that hwy and what I'm in for?

no problem. only minor hills going out of Salem through buell, no sharp corners in the corridor before getting to 101, and plenty of passing lanes. no problem all the way through. nice scenic drive.

you may already know, but hwy 22 ends where it meets hwy 18 at willamina. then 18 takes you over where it meets hwy 101. you will have no problems on any of them.

this is the preferred way to the coast . very easy just sit back and enjoy as lots of traffic keeps the pace down a little

Actually any of the roads from I-5 to 101 on the coast will do. We have taken all of them from the north to the south across in our 34 ft MH.

I hope you are talking about 65 for total length! You should have no problem as semis take those routes. It will be a 2 lane road most of the time with passing lanes.

Yes, total length.. Although my dream floor plan could be had with a 65ft motorhome, doubt I could take it any where!

Thanks !
