Hwy 50 off I 15 to I 70 ???

We are travelling from Salt Lake to Grand Junction later this month. Friend has suggested using Hwy 50 as a short cut from I 15 to I 70. Is this route suitable for 40' Class A + toad ?

The US 50 shortcut is very doable, it is only 30 miles.

Why not take US 6-US 191 from Spanish Fork to Green River. It is a good road and will save you about 60 miles and 45-60 min. Get off the Interstates and see the Country.lol
If you can spare the time take in Moab, Arches NP, and Canyonlands NP. Use the mileage saved, Moab is only 32 miles off of I 70.

I did the route 50 to I 70 when going to Moab in June and 191 from I 70 when heading to SLC in August. From your start point I would take the 191 route over to I 70 less miles and more to see than on the Interstate. Both roadways are good.

We just drove the I-15 to US 50 to I-70 this week. All good road. I-70 has some spectacular scenery.
