Hwy 550 in New Mexico

Is this a two or Four lane road ? Is it a good drive fit the Motorhome? We are 30' and tie a Ford Ranger.

I have only driven it between I25 to Bloomfield. It is an good road I drive a 40'DP with Odyssey toad. it is mostly 4 lane and the traffic has always been light. I have driven it in late Sept and Late April. We travel from NE WA to S TX each year with a stop for the Balloon Fiesta in Albq. 550 is part of the most direct route Will drive it again. Also drive 491 from Shiprock to Gallup. Don't forget Mesa Verde, Monument Valley, 4 Corners and Moab.

Take a look with Google Earth..

NIce wide 2 lane. Very good road and well suited for your rig.

We just drove 550 from near ABQ to Durango. Great road. We drove it in a 40' MH.
