Hwy 93 from Glacier NP to Las Vegas

HI all- need some help on deciding on H93 versus I15 going south from Glacier NP to Las Vegas. I am not worried about H93 in Nevada, but MS Streets/Trips shows H93 in Idaho to have lots of turns and switchbacks. We enjoy scenic by-ways but do not want to beat up the mohome.
thanks in advance,

My suggestion would be to work your way to I-15 to Pocatello, ID, then I-86/84 to Twin Falls, ID, and then Hwy 93 south.

I cannot speak to that part of 93- but- we took HWY 50 last June(the loneliest road in America) out of Moab Utah to Tahoe- it was fantastic- if you can work some of 50 into your route you will be thrilled. That may keep you away from the part of 93 you are concerned about

Have not driven 93 between Lolo and Twin Falls, but the rest is just fine. Take 6 and 318 south out of Ely.

Enjoy the trip!

A few years ago I did Challis, ID to Las Vegas. No problem, easy drive. Stop at Craters of the Moon on the way.

We took 93 from Glacier in 2011 to Arco, except for the road construction no problem. Stayed at KOA in Polson and check out the area. Also stopped in Salmon for the night....great campground right on the river with a deck...wished we could have stayed longer.
