Hwy 93 Kingman to Las Vegas

Is US 93 the best way from Kingman, AZ to Las Vegas, NV? I will be in a 45' coach towing. Understand the have a new bridge so won't have to cross Hoover dam.

I just made that trip today. No problems for the coach. However you might want to make the trip early in the day. I traveled before noon and traffic was not to bad. When I returned about 3PM the traffic northbound was backed up from 93 to Railroad pass.

It's certainly one way. We've driven it without a problem, both leaving Las Vegas and going to Las Vegas.

The sides of the bridge are high, and high-profile vehicles, such as RVs, must travel in the inside lane because of possible high winds. So, if it weren't for the signs instructing you to move into the inside lane, you'd never know that you were on a bridge.

X2 on the information above!

If you want to tour the dam, walk across the bridge, view the canyon/dam etc, going North Bound on 93 immediately after crossing the bridge there is a right lane “off” ramp that leads to a parking area where you can either walk across the bridge or park and disconnect the Toad to drive farther down to view, drive across the dam etc.

Thanks for the reply's ! I will take 93 now that I know it's safe. It will sure save some miles. Don't know where we are staying in Vegas, looking at Las Vegas Motor Coach Resort, Sam's Town and Oasis RV Resort. Any suggestions ! Again thanks for the help.
