HWY 93 through Nevada

While I've done the trip north and south up 93, 318 & 6 through Nevada many times, I've never done it in the middle of winter. I really like that route north and am curious if others have used it in the latter part of January? I've hit snow several times in spring, especially around Ely and would prefer not to get stuck. Any experience is appreciated.
thanks
toni

High dessert country , the weather changes faster than you can change your boots. I've hit blizzards between Jackpot and Wells and been driving bare roads in an hour on the way south. Another trip in Eli I was pushing snow and bare in Wells going north, November & December travel, don't think Jan. would be much different.

It's the end of JUNE! GO NOW! lol.

Jan could be nasty. I have hit snow in Feb, March, Oct, and Nov. not traveled in Jan.
But as they say "wait 15 min. and it will change".
