HWY 95 North of Lewiston

I have come down the switchbacks into Lewiston from Spokane.
Looking to return and wondering if anyone knows the
degree of climb?
This appears to be the only way out of Lewiston to go to Spokane.

Must have gone down the old grade if you had a lot of switchbacks

I went up that in September, not aware of the degree. Part of the problem is that there is a traffic light at the bottom that can prevent any "run" at the beginning of the hill; you might start from a dead stop. It seemed to go on and on...... and at 330HP towing a toad, well, let's just say there was plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.

It has been many years since I traveled up the old grade but one could always stop at the watering hole half way and take a break if need be.

We went NB to Spokane a year ago. We didn't have the MH on that trip but would not think twice about taking it on that route (I WOULD think twice about taking it on the old route).

Read all about Hwy 95 north of Lewiston. The 7% grade replaced the old Spiral Hwy. The new highway is still steep just not the switchbacks of the old.
