Hwy 98 from Biloxi, MS to Ocala, FL

Anyone been on 98 lately, especially in the area of Mexico Beach?

We would like to drive along the coast as much as possible when leaving Biloxi until we cut over to Ocala and just wondering if there are any known road issues with 98 through there.

I have house in the East Point area. Highway 98 has been "Repaired", but there is still a lot of damage in the Panama City, Port St Joe area. The road is passable as far as I can tell without driving it, but you can expect delays all through that area. the clean up is not going well according to relatives that live in the area.

Enjoy the ride on 98...but jump up to 20 before Panama City (331)...take 20 over to 19/98 S...still keeps you off 10 with a great ride
