Hwy 98 from Foley, AL to Perry, FL

Has anyone taken this route to get to US Hwy 19? Is it a good route or is it full of stop and go lights? It looks like a nice scenic drive. Driving in a MH with toad.

We have been on most of it, and yes stop and go in places but very scenic. I think you will like it

We travel it in a truck and 5th wheel, All good road and a lot of 4 lane.

Happy travels.

How far have you traveled on it? We are looking to take as close to New Orleans as we can get. If you have any suggestions for camping (dog friendly),it would be appreciated.

We have been on Hwy 98 from Spanish Fort to Tyndall Air Force Base just east of panama city, fl. Then again from Newport, FL down to Perry, FL.

All good road, a lot of 4 lane but some 2 lane.

We take 98/19/27/1 all the way down to key west from Dothan, AL.

Check out Gulf Shores SP, Top Sail Preserve SP, Pensacola Beach RV Resort, and Santa Rosa RV park.

Hope this helps.

Dave
