HY 71 and 59 South of Fort Smith

Is it big grades? Want to travel between Fort Smith and Texarkana. I hear that 71 north of Fort Smith, the Boston Mountains, now is improved?

Traveled Texarkana to Ft Smith about four years ago in a 40 ft motorhome towing Saturn Vue. I remember the roads being good without big grades, but I have been on lots of roads since then. Memory not as good as it once was.
