If you don't want to do the tunnel, the very best place to stay is right at the park entrance in Springdale. The free shuttle will pick you up right in this pleasant little town or you can even walk into the park entrance and pick up the shuttle at the Visitor Center.

Kanab is a long drive if you do multiple days in the park - which you should.

I'm 57', 40' of coach, 17' of trailer and hitch. I guess I'm good to go if I stay in the middle.

I plan to come in from the west, and go out the east headed to Bryce. Been there done this before, 3 times before, always on a motorcycle. Familiar with the road, not with the restrictions.

The rangers will let you know at the entrance to the park if you are going to have to disconnect. If you do, there is a pull off just after ranger station where you can disconnect. I have been through twice in the past month with my truck and 30' trailer.

You won't be able to do it. The total combined limit is 50'.

You would have two ways to get to Bryce from the west side of Zion entrance. Both are good for RVs.

1) Take Hwy 9 west to Hurricane and UT59 which becomes AZ389 to Fredonia, AZ then north on 89 to Hwy 12 and east to Bryce.

2) Hwy 9 west to I-15. Go north on I-15 to Hwy 20 at Circleville to 89. Take 89 south to Hwy 12 and east to Bryce.

From I-15 do not drive Hwy 14 east to get to Hwy 89. It's steep, narrow and curvy.

The national parks Service website states 50'. Take a chance, you may get lucky.
