I-10 along the Gulf Coast

After our trip around the USA. we had planned to return to Florida via I-10 through La., Ms. and Al. On various forums I have read reports that I-10 has damage from the last storm and is a rough ride. Also that the fuel supply is contaminated in many places. Does anyone have RECENT first hand knowledge of this area ?

We live along I-12 at exit #22, I travel I-10 frequently from TX to MS. The roads are good except for a short 4 mile section right before the MS border. No problem with gas either. Safe travels.

I live in Biloxi, Ms, about 2 miles north of I10 and I can assure you none of this is true in this area. We have traveled from Slidell, La to the other side of Mobile, Al since the storm and can say with certainty that none of this true in these areas either.

Sometimes I wonder where things like this come from (lol).
