Has anyone been on I-20 from Tallulah to Vicksburg, MS lately? It has been several years since I traveled that way and thought I would have to replace the RV after the trip. It felt like every concrete slab was tilted up as you went over them. Has the freeway been repaired, or is it still the same. It saves me about 98 miles going that way to AL, but I can still go the I-55 way thur Memphis, TN.

I'm running out of time. Sure would like to hear from someone that has travelled East or West on I-20 between Vicksburg, MS and Tallulah, LA. Will be leaving within the next 30 days.

I20 as of Nov. 07 still stinks in LA. I lost a window there due to the lousy roads.

Thanks Houkie, I was afraid of that. The last time I was there, thought the RV would explode from the impact of each concrete slab as we pass (bounced over it). I can stay on old Hiway 80 to the bitter end and then get onto I-20 just before we get to Vicksburg. Thanks for the update. If you know anyone going south from AR to LA, tell them to go old Hwy 80 until it runs out.
