I 22 in Alabama

Can anyone tell me if I 22 is complete to I 65. Leaving August 14 and heading that way and last time is was not all the way to I 65.

Yes, it is complete all the way to I-65. Just opened a few weeks ago.

They completed much of the now interstate highway in Mississippi to Tupelo and Fulton in 1975. I remember getting a speeding ticket at Hickory Flat on my birthday.

It's about time Alabama did their portion of the interstate, as 40 years in construction is long enough. That's politics speaking.

I was just on this in June (Atlanta I-20 to Birmingham, I-22 to Memphis) Other than the transition thru Memphis from I-22 to I-40 it was a great road...

Now I-40 from Memphis to OKC is a whole other thread
