Hi All....I'm looking for a different route East from Arizona and have tried them all except I-25 North from Albuquerque. Can you tell me if there are any tough grades N/B before reaching Las Vegas (NM). I'd like to take US 56 from Springer. Thanks. Len

The drive from Albuquerque to Las Vegas is really quite easy, no long steep grades and all divided freeway. One thing to check is construction. We find here in New Mexico there is a lot of road work. Someone suggested naming the Minor League Basketball team "The Orange Barrels".

Enjoy the ride, northern NM is really q pretty place.
