I-29 through Iowa 2011

Has anybody been on I-29 from the Missouri border to I-90 recently? Is I-29 still closed due to flooding?

It was closed as recently as last week, but I bet there's some kind of State DOT site to get updates and predictions from.

Check out this site ...

Iowa DOT Road Info

That site looks like both I-29 and I-35 may have closures ... Iowa has had some severe rain falls recently ...

US 81, US 281, US 183, and US 83 are all decent two lane highways that will take you from I-70 to I-90

We just came down a portion of I-35 and there were I-29 detour signs along the route.
