Any info on I-30 as to condition, construction, etc. Heading that way on 4-6 to a rally in Searcy, Ar. We go every year from home but go thru Jackson and Memphis. This year will be leaving from New Iberia, La. and this looks like the easiest, not necessarily shortest route. One section of 2 lane, US71 N. of Shreveport to Ar.549 to Texarkana.
Thanks
Dave

I hav'nt driven I30 since December, at that time it was in good shape, much better since they resurfaced, construction/roadwork happens. Also I took La 3 out of Sherveport/Bossier City to Ark 29 that intersects I30 at Hope. It is 2 lane but really in good shape...1 really sharp turn in Lewiston Ar (in town)

Thanks Ronnie. Will probably still use the Texarkana route due to the Flying J just east of town and will be needing fuel by then.

Hobby Jack
When we went thru there all we saw was water backed up in the low places all the way up thru Cabot. From the White River I guess. Then had that storm come thru that Thursday, tornado warnings all around us. We were parked on grass and it looked pretty bleak on getting out on Sunday. The wind switched out of the NW and the sun came out. Amazing how that place dried out. Owner had to go over the ruts with a drag to smooth them out while still sort of soft or they would have been like railroad ties if they got hard. Lots of water flowing thru all the creeks and rivers all the way to Alexandria.

I did'nt see you wave as you went thru, guess it was raining too much! I am trying to make a trip south down thru Lake village, AR, but the way the Mississippi is swelling, I wonder if Lake Village will be there next week.
