So true. Last year I made the mistake of taking I-4 from the Turnpike to I-95. Between the traffic and construction it took me 90 minutes longer than the GPS said it would.

If you buy in FL and you want use in more than just FL, Central Florida Expressway Authourity Epass xtra is the only one that will work up north with EZPASS. Sunpass will NOT work with EZPASS yet. For xtra pass its a one time charge of $18 for the suction cup transponder. I think the sticker for FL only is free. https://www.cfxway.com/e-pass-xtra/?...104.1545353728. You can setup/buy online.

Correct 417 has cash lanes. 429 is a mixture of staffed and non staffed/toll by plate the most expensive way to go.

With all the construction on I 4 …... the traffic is bad, the road is bad, the drivers are bad (yes I'm one of them ), lots of s curves to move traffic around construction, narrow lanes and old lane markers still kinda visible. Other than that its a piece of cake. If its raining, night or rush hour no fun go around.
