Leaving Coco beach heading to Mich. you can pick up I-75 in FL, stay on that all the way and never have to worry about I-40 in the mountains. Just take 528 toward Orlando then pick up Florida's Turnpike and take that to I-75.

thanks.we always take 75 but wanted to try 40.made it ok nice ride.but get fuel before north c. 4.27 a gallon. south c 95 big holes in road alot of them.then seen what a twister can do feel so bad for them.just off the hwy houses destroyed not a wall standing.unreal.

You should have no pproblems. The last slide was cleared by mid February. Just watch the weather. It's has been strange around here recently. (I live near Knoxville)

Hi new rver,
If you have the time, stop in the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area. You'll be glad you did. There is a lot to do. Plenty of shows to see and shopping for the lady(s). The Smoky Mountain Opera is by far the best show. This are is very close to your route. On I40, exit 407 in TN. 13 Miles off I40 (on four lane road) and your there.
