Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes.

I just saw a news report on a major WADOT project affecting I-405 today and tomorrow, The freeway is completely closed in both directions until 11:00 Sunday while a bridge is being demolished. The closure is between SR-167 and SR-169 in south Renton.

Detours are on city streets, and Renton isn't the easiest city to drive through.

It was good of you to post this to the List, for those traveling in that area. Thank you Frank!

I was in Seattle this past week helping my brother with a his car rebuild and the Northwest Nationals. (drag races) The 405 was scheduled to reopen Sunday morning at 11:00A.M. I'm back in Tucson now and as far as I know it did.
