Just heard from the news today (tonight) that the WSP just closed I-5 both north and south bound in Chehalis, that's close to where Brazel's RV is at. Wonder if any of the forum members are affected by this. Unless you go the long route to 101, this is the main north/south connection between WA and OR.

That area flood out all the time. Does not mean that passage is not available on old 99.

The section of I-5 that always closes is a low portion that is in a small valley area. It really needs to be raised up on a tressel or something to prevent it from going under every time the local river floods.

Rom,

Yes, it did affect us... We were to start back to our place back near Poulsbo this next Monday... Instead, we extended our stay here until late March!

Ceratto's Grotto: good for you, enjoy the sunshine, all we have here now is rain (nothing new). We'll be heading down south (Yuma) later this month. Hopefully, the worst (road wise in I-5) is over by the time we leave.

It opened over the weekend as did the three Cascade passes. Lots of flooding problems in the region, but mostly over with. LOTS of problems remain...!!!!
