Be warned folks. The CHP is going to be giving out speeding tickets on I-5. Normally, you can go 5-10 miles over the limit and not get a ticket; however, the state is getting tired of bad accidents and are periodically going to patrol I-5 in force giving out tickets to ANYBODY GOING OVER THE SPEED LIMIT...even 5 mph. The first day was today (6-15-05). They will be doing it at unspecified times throughout the summer.

They're also bringing out the airplanes and helicopters for this. Remember...NO TOLERANCE!! This is the entire state...from Mexico to the Oregon border.

Webster, thanks for the 'heads-up'... for us towing our trailers that's a top speed of 55mph in California.
