I 70 traffic/construction in St Louis

I traveled through St. Louis in 2013 and the construction was terrible. Has anyone been through there lately?

Thanks,
Steve

I live & work here . No construction on STL that i can think of .
I can't really think of any significant construction on 70 in recent years . You sure your not thinking 64 ?

I-64 has excellent toppings on some of the road from I-70 near Wentzville (east of STL) thru E St Louis. Other portions will rattle your eye teeth. Over all I would give the total trip distance a 4.

If you are traveling west of St. Louis, i'd suggest getting up to us 36 as soon as you can. Road is in much better shape than I-70, far less traffic, less steep hills to climb. We usually travel to US 63 at Columbia and then north to 36. This does bring you out at St. Joseph, MO so it might be to far north for you if you want to continue on I-70. Good luck and safe travels.

I use One Stop Shop for Travelers
when routing a trip. It has an amazing amount of gadgets to help plan a trip.
