I-71/75 or I-275 bridge?

We will be coming south on I-71. Should we cross the Ohio River on the I-71/75 double-decker bridge or take the I-275 and rejoin the I-71 southwest of the river? 39' motorhome towing pickup in our signature. Thanks for your advice.

We've done both & I prefer I-275 going around the east side of Cinci. Much less traffic going around.

We use the I-275 bypass. The traffic on 71 or 75 alone is bad but is usually horrible where they meet just north of the bridge. I think it is the worst if you are coming in on 71. We only did it ONCE with the MH, never again! Very short merge and people don't seem to ever give you any space. Safe travels.

Came down 75 last Saturday morning. Took 2 hours to go 2 miles at the bridge southbound. Northbound didn't look any better. They have closed at least 1 lane north and south and it looks long term. Concrete barriers are in place. It was a mess. No warning until right on it.

Went across the bridge 3 days ago going North luckily without the trailer it was a mess. It is in under repair. I would avoid the whole area if you can.

We have a cabin in TN and have traveled75 south from Dayton several times a month for years. If we can't go through on 75 we have found it better to use 71 and seems like when we use 275 it generally takes more time. The Cincy radio stations give current conditions on which is flowing better. We avoid Friday afternoons any route.
