I 74 in North Carolina

What does I 74 look like between Winston Salem I 40 and I 73 near Randleman? Is it all completed and faster than going I40 to 220 and then down?

A quick 5 minute Google search shows the Piedmont section of I-74 having been completed from I-40 to I-73 near Randleman in June of 2013. Although the Sat photos seem to show it near completion but with no traffic, the Google Map street view shows active traffic on the highway.
