I-8 from San Diego to Tucson.

How is the drive? I heard that I-8 is rough riding out past Yuma. Better to go I-10? Any thoughts, tip, etc.

Run into blowing sand just prior to climbing mountains (going west) About a ten mile segment of Interstate. Really easy run with less traffic than I10. Stopped in Julian for apple pie!

We've driven that route dozens of times in both directions without a problem...

We have driven I-8 from El Cajon to Casa Grande during the last month .... the road is excellent ... there are grades and cross wind possibilites between El Cajon and Octillo
