I/90 to West Yellowstone

Which would be the easiest drive 191 or 89? The difference is about 1 mile.

We've never been on 191, but we drove Hwy. 89. Beautiful scenery!

Rt. 191 is pretty with no steep grades. Check out Earthquake lake while you are out there.

Here's a view of the Tetons from Hwy. 89.

89 is fine, however I believe 191 has better scenery. Looks like 191 is a more direct route into West Yellowstone.

Haven't done 89, but have been down 191. A very nice drive.

Concur with above. None of the roads are troublesome, and if the route allows you to take 287 past E'Quake Lake, stop at the visitor center and check it out. Great RV parking accommodations and well done center with interesting history.

This pic taken at earthquake lake visitor center. There's a reason for all that "rubble," but you'll have to stop there to learn why!

Thanks everyone. The past few years we have been using the East Entrance (from Cody) and going through the Park. This year we are stopping at the Little Bighorn Battlefield which we haven't been to in ten years. I think 191 will be it. Thanks again
