I-90 Wa

Traveling from Tacoma Wa to Spokane Wa. Anyone know if the I-90 is a good rout for a 33ft Class A w/ Ford 460 towing a Vehicle. (not much power but runs well)Climbing the Cascades is over 5000 ft. Just wondering if the road in windy.

I don't think you will have any problem
going over I90.. Going thru The George can be windy at times.. FYI: You had better hurry up and make the drive before it SNOWS BURRRR..

Just one correction. I90 is only about 3000'. Just gear down (if needed for the last couple miles and take it easy) you shouldn't have any problem.

As others have said, yes I-90 is the route. Wind usually not a factor. Only near the Columbia near Vantage.

From Tacoma, take Hiway 18 (Federal way area) to I-90. This will bypass 405 which goes thru Renton and Bellevue. I-90 to Spokane. Great road, especially the last 150 miles or so.

I - 90 is a great route. There is the Snoquime pass,but there are a number of lanes and you can take your time. Yes there is usually some wind around Vantage, also a 10 mile hill just west of Vantage. Most of the I-90 is fairly level and straight. I agree with RUFINIT Hwy 18 is a great by pass route. We have taken almost every route to the coast from spokane and 1-90 is by far the best and easiest way.
