I-95 or 295 in Richmond, Va

Has anyone been through Richmond Va heading south lately? I heard there was construction delays. Thanks. First time poster long time lurker.

Welcome to irv2. There is construction on most roads this time of year :(. It's the only time they have to do it. I've not been there this year. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

Haven't been on 295 for about 6 months, but it is a pretty bumpy road in some places, although there is rarely any backups.

95 through Richmond is more crowded, especially during rush hours, but the road is in very good condition. Went through there a couple weeks ago on 95 and the traffic moved pretty good.
