Interstate 79 in West Virginia

Evening,
Posted a similar post a couple of months ago but didn't get a recent report.
Anybody traveled I-79 recently ( last couple of months). If you did I would like to know the condition of the road. Is it rough or has it been paved last year or two?
We traveled that way from Charleston WV to where it intersects I-68 about 5 or 6 years ago but it was nighttime and it was foggy and seems like the road was kind of rough but really I don't remember because it was a pretty tense drive in the fog. Seems like I was either climbing or descending a long grade also.
Appreciate any responses as we're heading to Maine in Sept. and thinking about taking I-79 out of Charleston as part of our route.

Interstate 79

I had come up from Lexington, Ky. to Baltimore, Md., and came thru Huntington to Charleston, and on up I-79 to I-68- to I-81 last year, a week after the Boston Bombing, or so? I don't recall the roads being rough that way? Sure is a pretty drive....

Thanks for the reply. Curious were you in a motorhome, pulling a fifth wheel or travel trailer or were you in a automobile?
Roads in a car can sometimes seem pretty good but you tend to notice more dips bumps etc when in a rv.
I do appreciate you giving me some information.
