Jasper, Alberta to Prince Rupert, BC

Planning a summer run to the Northwest, and wondering about Highway 16 from Jasper to Prince George then on to Prince Rupert. How is the road (especially through the Bulkley Canyon area) for a 37' DP with a toad?

Ran it a few years ago with a 38' and toad and loved it. You'll need to check with someone for current state of the road, but it was an easy run without steep climbs or white knuckle descents.

It is a very scenic drive in the summer. You wont have any problems on that road. Like above I haven't been over there for a couple years so don't know the surface conditions.
Watch for wildlife and have a good journey.

Thanks for the info. First time I drove it from Pr. George to Pr Rupert was in '63 and a lot of the drive was gravel, and sharing some narrow curves with logging trucks was a bit testy.
My old '55 Pontiac handled it well though.
