Sorry,
Glacier, Yellowstone, grand Teton, lander, Amarillo, Dallas
Ive so far incorporated all the suggestions from this site, and thank you All.
I'm a little concerned with the 4500 miles in 8 weeks but more concerned about bears in the parks. I don't want to be eaten- and I know they would like exotic neat like us Aussies.
Ive still got a lot of micro planning todo and when I figure out how to include my route in this page I will do it
There are questions about Banff to jasper and west Yellowstone to grand Teton in a motor home that I need to ask.

We were at Yellowstone and Grand Teton parks last year for a week.
We saw one Grizzly and a lot of more friendly animals.
Spectacular scenery.

We are 40ft DP with toad
Can you drive happily up to jasper national park then down thru Banff glacier Np then Yellowstone to grand Teton. I was thinking of staying at grizzly rv park for 6 nights then drive to colter bay grand Tetons for 2 night(enough??) and do day trips with toad
I've skied Jackson hole and can't wait to get back there.

You cannot drive on Going to the Sun Road in Glacier with your 40-footer. We stayed in a KOA on the east side of Glacier and drove our towed car.
All the other roads from Glacier to Y'stone are fine for your motorhome including driving through Y'stone to Tetons. We stayed near Moran Jct. and drove into the Tetons. Mosquitos were VERY bad in 2008. (see below)
Bears will not be a problem in your MH. Tent is a different story.

Bears are just fine, they hide, when the Tourist come. Watch out for the Elks in and around Jasper.....

Should we add Bad Lands and subtract Jasper? What are your views on what to include with only 8 weeks to do it.

Hi Steve,
If you just follow the Rocky Mountain Front south from Jasper to Yellowstone, you'll pass very near to this:
http://www.history.alberta.ca/headsm...n/default.aspx
Head-Smashed-In is a Unesco World Heritage site just 12 miles west of Fort MacLeod, Alberta. You'll be glad that you stopped for a few hours.
Take care,
Stu

I've added this - thanks for the advice.
I've picked all the campgrounds, allocates time/ days, put in a few things to see. Now time to get down to micro planning.
We gave friends coming for 6 days also - looks like we will be in Yellowstone so that will be great for them
