Kansas City to Cape Coral, Florida

We are leaving later this week from NE Kansas to start toward Florida. My plan is to take Hwy 71 south now called I 49. Thinking about going through Little Rock and then SE on US 65 to Vicksburg I 40 to US 49 then south to I 10 to I 75 then on down. Anyone see issues with this route? Anything to watch out for?

same trip

Looks like this was the exact road I am looking at to travel in two weeks, I am curious was this a good route. I just posted a help from Springfield MO to Fort Meyer coming through this area also. HOW WAS IT?

Kansas City to Fort Myers

Trip was uneventful. Road construction from Rogers to south of Springfield a little slow but otherwise the roads we good. Part of the trip was off the interstate so more to look at and not as much traffic. I guess if you go on more interstates it is about 6 hours shorter. Safe travels.
