Leaving tomorrow Kansas to Boston or just north, maybe Glouchester? 35 ft. Class A towing Suzuki Sidekick. Looking for route suggestions, wish to avoid toll roads and toll bridges if practical, welcome warnings if there are tunnels that won't take propane, etc. We'll be on I-70 to Ohio, more or less, then open to great suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help, HarveyP

Not sure where you are in Kansas? Get on I-70 east to I-71 to I-76 to I-80E to I-81N to I-84E to I-87N (Toll), to I-90E (Toll) gets you right to Boston and points around the east. Daughter just left Fort Riley Friday traveling same route to NY roads all good so far on I-80 and 84 today if any major construction I'll let you know. Safe Travels and Happy Kamping

We recently came up I-81 picking it up in southern VA and then I-84 into CT. The first part of I-84 was pretty rough but it did smooth out after awhile. 1 toll in NY, the tolls on I-90 are well worth it as the road was in great shape the last time we drove it.

The highlight of I-84 was finding the Promised Land SP in Greentown, PA. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we were trying to stay out in front of that nasty weather front a few weeks back. Real nice place down the road called the Old Rangers Inn.

Thank you both, we made it here just great. So far, the Boston area has not been as scarey to drive as I had been led to believe. This forum is the best!! HarveyP
