has anyone traveled the Ford Wesstern parkway and the blue grass parkway? Any difficulties getting around Lexington? Would like to travel from Eddyville off hwy 24 onto parkway then continue thru Lexington to inter state 65.
Any comments would be appreciated especial on camp sites for MH.

Not real sure where you are planning on going to. Eddyville is in the western part of the state near LBL and I-24 which runs directly into I-65 in Nashville.

I've travelled on the BG Pkwy for many years, it is a nice road that still does not have real heavy traffic.

Lexington is best avoided if you are in a larger MH. I would suggest going around it on New Circle.

There is a nice park north of Lexington (KY horse park I believe) that is supposed to be nice.

Thanks for your reply Clock M. That is exactly what I hoped to hear. I want something where you can chug along and smell the roses without a lot of traffic. I thought this route might be a little like the Natze Trace parkway. I will keep Horse park in mind as well as circumventing Lex. I was hoping they would have finished the parkway thru Lex. as my maps are very old. Thanks again.

I can second what Chris has said, the BGP is a nice drive and not too busy, The Kentucky Horse Park is a nice park also we stop there whenever in that area.
