Las Vegas to Bishop, Ca.

My daughter who lives in Las Vegas wants to travel to Bishop, Ca. She would be going route 95 north and then she was thinking of taking highway 266 into Big Pine, Ca, then 395 north to Bishop.

My question is highway 266. Is that a good road for her to travel pulling a travel trailer with a Dodge Ram hemi engine.

I have never traveled on 266, so I am kind of concerned.

California @ AARoads - California State Route 266

More fun on a MC but we did it recently in our Skoolie, with car in tow, 46 ft. long no problem.
