Long Island to Cape May

I'm leaving tomorrow morning from Long Island N.Y. and heading to cape May N.J. I understand I can go on the GSP but just want to make sure my intel is correct. -Thanks, Chihuabus

Trucks over 7,000 GVW are not allowed on the Parkway above exit 105, but busses can travel the entire length. Since you are getting on from the Turnpike at exit 130, you have to travel 15 miles with questionable legality if you are a MH, and pretty much total illegality if you are towing a trailer. Below Asbury Park (105) you are fine. It would be really slow, but you could always take the Turnpike down to exit 9 and take Route 18 south till you hit the GSP at exit 105. It would be quite a bit slower, but no chance of a ticket.

BTW we'll be there for a week starting tomorrow. Where are you camping?
