Looking for great places on our to branson

Hi All, We are leaving Oct 1 on our first big trip in our new 2 us motorhome. We are leaving Eastern Shore of Md. Heading for Branson and then on to South Fl. We would love to hear about places others have visited along this route. as we are in no real hurry. We have seen all the so called normal places in Tenn. Gatlinberg, Pigeon Forge Ect. Too comercial for us YES I know Branson is very commercial but our 2 special needs kids love country music and we plan to see the shows. We are concidering Nashville and Memphis. Also looking to avoid as allways the steepest grades. made out fine on 66 west and 81 south to Roan Mountain last month. But this time we will be taking a TOAD.

They have some spaces that are first come first serve but they also have spaces that can be reserved by the reserveamerica.com website.

We have stayed at Toad Suck many times and enjoy the peace and quiet of the park along with the view of the river. Lots of shade and also playgrounds. We have been here for about a week and will be leaving in a couple of days.
