Has anyone traveled from Missoula Montana I90 to US 93 north to Kalispell and then over to west Glacier NP?

I will be in a MH, no toad. AAA has me routed another way but I would like to go up to Flathead Lake and Kalispell if the roads are ok.

Thanks,

Ron

Ron,

We took that route (sort of) back in 2003, except we went up the east side of Flathead Lake from Polson on Hwy 35, 206, and US-2. Didn't have any problem whatsover... was pulling a 34' fifth wheel with a 1 ton dually Ford. If you'd like to take that route with your MH, I see no reason not to.

Have a great trip!

For the last couple of years (and some area residents think it is a perpetual-employment project), the road between Missoula and Flathead Lake has been under major construction.

Last year (late summer / fall) it was worse than "off-road" conditions for multiple miles.

Plan on extra time; go slow to minimize damage - - even if there is a line of cars behind you. Places to pull over to allow others to pass were not frequent - so 'take the first one you see'.

The Flathead Lake and West Glacier areas are beautiful.
