Low Overpass in Danville VT??

Hi,

We are traveling from Lubec, Maine to Burlington VT in a couple of weeks, heading for the Allegro Club Rally at Essex Junction. We intend to take US 2 most of the way across Maine, New Hampshire and into Vermont. In Montpelier, we will pick up I-89 the rest of the way in to Burlington.

In researching the route (first time in this area for us), I looked at the CoachNet low clearance list. It shows a low bridge in Danville VT on US 2, "3.5 miles west of US 5". I have looked at google maps and can't find what looks like an underpass in this vicinity.

Anybody driven this road and able to give info about it?

Your help is appreciated.

Regards.

Chuck

I was just over there in June, we go that way to Northen NH. I went to college over there as well and used to run that road every weekend.

Definitely an error, not only no low overpasses, there aren’t any overpasses on 2 between Montpelier and St. Johnsbury.

Enjoy the drive, really pretty ride. There is rest stop just before Danville that has an amazing view of the White Mountians to the east.
