When we visit Malibu California by car we use this road to get from Hwy 101 to Hwy 1, I have not traveled in a motorhome on this road before. My question is it a problem for a 33' Class A? There is a tunnel on this road. If not which way would be a better route.

ps, I am coming South on I-5, then South on I-405, then North on Hwy 101.

Well I went ahead and took the Malibu Canyon road this past week between Hwy 101 an Hwy 1 (Pacific Coast Hwy). I am happy to report that it is only 9.6 miles long and an easy drive. A few areas are curvy with a nice short grade change and although well traveled by visitors and locals the drive went well. The tunnel is well lit and is well marked for height along the edges. No clearance problems at all.
