Has anyone traveled this highway? We have been told the portion between Durango and Mazatlan, called the "Devil's Backbone" is quite steep. We are wondering how bad is the descent and appx how many miles, etc.?
We travel Mexico each winter, but have never taken this route before.
Thanks for any info.
