Anyone have preferences for Mexican auto insurance?
Who and why?
Thanks!

You can't get insurance for Mexico until you get there . And then you take your chances .The one time we drove to Mexico we parked at the boarder and drove across .

Not so.

You can buy Mexican insurance for either car or RV on line from any number of places. There are many agents who sell it online but there are probably 4 or 5 companies that actually write the policies.

GOOGLE "Mexican Auto Insurance" and you'll get a variety of sources. Most will give you quotes from at least 3 companies.

If you belong to the Automobile Club they may offer coverage for Mexico. At various times in the past they have done so.
