Hola,
Karen and I are about to embark on a full time adventure. Our son is in the Coast Guard stationed in Mobile currently. He and his wife have our newest grandbaby on the way, due sometime next month. We are planning on spending a couple months down there before heading out. Any suggestions on locations that have decent monthly rates in the area?
TIA
Mike

Have your son check in to the availability of the military campgrounds in the Mobile/Pensacola area. There are a few and he might be able to get you in on his creds. The other thing to check would be the Alabama State Parks. There is one right outside Mobile that looks really good. Close to the beaches and not far from Mobile or Pensacola.
Good luck, Mike

Sorry to have to reply twice but I had to jump off and check out another location for you. When you check out the Alabama State Parks, I think the one best for you would be Gulf State Park. Last reported was $22.00 a night and very convenient to the whole area.

Have stayed at the state parks before. Looking for the commercial parks that have monthly rates.

not sure if you wanted right in Mobile, but we have stayed at a wonderful cg in Foley, Al, about 30 miles from Mobile. One of the best and friendliest we have stayed in.

We have stayed at SHADY ACRES CAMPGROUND - right in Mobile - just a couple of minutes from I-10 - not a wonderful neighborhood, but a very pleasant park with very accomodating hosts.

Mike,
Check out Payne's RV Park in Theodore. They offer weekly and monthly rates. From what I can tell they have a good reputation. Which side of town does your son live on?
