Montgomery, AL to Camp Gulf Florida (east of Destin)

Headed down from Arkansas to Camp Gulf, FL in a couple of weeks. The route down to Montgomery is a no brainier, but I seem to have several routes for Montgomery south to pick from. Any recommendations for Motorhome friendliest route? Thanks for any suggestions!

Your best option from Montgomery is 331 but I haven't driven it in several years. I always take 45 from Tupelo Ms to Mobile Al and hit I10 across to Fl. I have clocked the miles before and it's a few miles further but easier driving in my opinion. 45 is four lane all the way except for the last 50 miles in Al and there is a route around Mobile to avoid the tunnel. I live in N Ms and have driven both routes many times and like 45 better, except those trips when I get behind a log truck on that 50 miles of two lane!
