Montgomery to Tallahassee

Planning to go from Montgomery, AL to Tallahassee, FL.
Prefer to use 4 lane roads; driving 40' MH with tow.
I have looked at older posts showing preferred routes and road conditions, but would like current status and recommendations.

Thanks for your input!

Looks like 231 is 4 lane all the way.

I prefer 4 lane also due to the fact there are less people pulling out in front of you along with the number of people texting and wandering across the middle of the road.

231 is your best bet. We go that way fairly often.
There's also a nice campground, if needed, around Troy Al., name is deer run.
