We will be heading for AZ in the next couple of weeks and wondered about camping in Monument Valley in March on our way home. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Peace!

We stayed at Cadillac Ranch and it was fine for what we required. It is located in Bluff about 25 miles from the park. The bad thing about SW Utah in March and April is the dust storms. We lived for a time in Farmington, NM and the dust storms are not a whole lot of fun. They generally only last a couple of days but it is a miserable 2 days. The upside is the days are warm and the nights cool, sometimes very cool.

You cannot camp closer to Monument Valley than at Goulding's Campground. It has the best scenic niew I have ever seen from a CG. It may be a little chilly in March.

Here's some weather info for March in Mon. Valley.

Totally forgot about Gouldings, it is much closer and the views are spectacular. We stayed at Cadillac because it was about midway between Monument Valley, Natural Bridges, Edge of Cedars, and Havenweep. From there we did day trips.

Thank you everyone. We may change our plans and spend more time in Sedona and Death Valley. Peace!
