Mountain Directory

I was checking into getting these books until I saw what Amazon was charging for them. But I did a search and found where I can get them direct from the publishing for a lot less $$$. Are both of these books the same? The links for both of these are below.

Why isn't Arkansas in either one of these? Do their 7% grades not count?

Check on eBay - I was doing research on tour books and found that eBay had the exact same things Amazon did - and cheaper. And you never know when a new one will be put up.

Let me check it to make sure it worked. Yep - works - $26.90 for both - did not check their shipping rate but have bought from them before and they are not high as a kite like some places - but not free like some others.

No worries - I'd have checked shipping - but on my iPhone - I have order many times from them actually - even some electronic 12V and 120 volt ebooks and never set up an account. You can call em and talk to real person too. And - check their lineage with the RV weekend email - and RV doctor - etc. Good people.

On edit again- it's Chuck Woodbury email btw. RVtravel.com that is affiliated somehow.

There are electronic versions of these books available for those that hate paper. They're not regular eBooks; they're programs that will only run on Windows computers.

Yep - I saw them somewhere - but they don't seem to be at the bookstore - go figure. Obviously a personal choice - but I like these two and my big truckers map book. Something about laying that big book of maps out - pulling out a pencil and marking things off is just enjoyable to me. Same with reading the mountain guides. But it is a fact of life that I must have fewer and fewer books in order to go full time. The three mentioned are traveling with us. This actually sounds like a good thread topic - what books - maps do full timers travel with? Not a hijack - please don't answer - just thinking out loud. Somebody beat me too it.
Steve
