One of the greatest values of the Directory is for the descents. As far as climbing, especially on Interstates, just about any RV will get over it, although there are some ascents where you might want to pick your time of day for it. The big deal is in planning the other side and not letting your speed get out of control - you start down a grade at 5% cruising at a comfortable 60 mph and then come around a curve and discover that it drops off to 7%. Would have been nice to see that coming.
